'The Romans' is a dynamic 5-piece instrumental band from Melbourne that combines the spirit of jazz with the textures of groove, fusion and Latin.

The band is set to release its latest album: "ON SYDNEY ROAD" and will be premiering officially its most recent material e.g. 'Fanfare for the Frontline' and 'Sydney Road Strutter' and many other original tunes.

The diverse collection of originals combined with iconic fusion 'covers' feature strong melodies and compelling harmonies. Influences include artists such as John Scofield, Bob Berg and The Yellow Jackets.

The band is really excited to have Lachlan Davidson (Saxes/FLute) officially join 'The Romans'.
